Emilio's of Morris Park

My husband and I had ordered from Emilio's months ago and totally enjoyed their food. We decided to go. 1st - it's small. We were able to get a table 2nd - pizza, you take to the table. However, hot food comes straight to you from the kitchen. All is piping hot. 3rd - the staff is friendly and you are welcome with a smile 😃. 4th and not definitely not least, the food is soooooo gooooood. They also market their own soda - a must try. 5th - we will be going back or order from the comfort of our living room.

Very good pizza. Would have given it 5 stars if our pizza bottom wasn’t burned.

No pricing on the signs inside, The slices here are WAY overpriced. My slice was $8 then I added chicken on top (extra $3) which brings it to $11! I don’t feel like the quality was that great to warrant that amount. Just another spot trying to become a gimmicky Pizzeria and overcharge customers, I will not be coming back here.

After seeing their advertisement on TV, I had high expectations. Food is pricey (ex: slice of pizza was $4.50 for ordinary size). Many choices on menu. Mini canzone was barely warm. Pizza sauce tasted sour. Unfortunately I was very disappointed and doubt if I'll return.

Update: came back to try again. Ordered two salads and pasta fagioli. $62 bucks. Are you kidding. Will never be back. 1st review. Grew up on pizza in the Morris Park area of the Bronx. There were so many pizzeria you could not go wrong. This was my first time at Emilio's, which was highly recommended. I was disappointed at how flat the pizza tasted. No depth to the sauce at all. The crust was crispy though. Also had a rice ball, which was an impulse. It was OK, but nothing of note. Overall, I was not impressed.
